The Robert Barton Trust go to festivals!

The RBT Staff at the stallOur client group at the RBT have a now long tradition of attending festivals often in a working capacity- As an organisation it is beneficial for us to attend festivals to offer further support and raise awareness regarding the issues that we are confronted with. through our work and besides we like them!

The Sunrise Celebration 2007 took place 15 miles South of Glastonbury to coincide with the Solstice, over 16th to 1st June. The Robert Barton Trust liaised with Family gathering who were organising the festival to ensure that we were offered space to display a small exhibition about our work, as well as undertaking questionnaires and share information.

A man who finds living on the road too difficult and wanted information on boatliving.

A couple and child accessing information to send to settlers in Spain.

The RBT display A woman from an unauthorised site in Taunton wanting to keep in contact with us regarding a public meeting for travellers in Somerset.

A family about to move onto the road wanting to be prepared for problems around this lifestyle.

A male traveller needing advice on how to get a bank account.
