The Community Cafe
The
Community cafe is open from 11am to 2pm on Thursdays. Cafe users can
book a shower, use the internet, phone the benefits
office, talk to a project worker, read the papers or ask for help.The café space currently offers hot drinks, cakes, homemade hot soup and a Vegetarian main meal at cost price. (we do have a certain amount of food for those in desperate need)
Staffed by the project workers and volunteers, our aim is to create a safe, non jugemental space in which everyone can relax, eat and drink, access the internet, use a computer, read, socialise and make appointments to meet project workers, counselors or representatives from other in order to discuss issues including; accommodation, health, training or benefit entitlement. 
When available we also offer warm bedding, clothing and dog food.
